World's Biggest Thangka Art Displayed at Dasharath stadium from Friday,12th November 2016.

Thangka art is tibetian buddhist painting on cotton or silk.Often served as teaching tools depicting lifecycle of Lord Gautam Buddha.

Today 12th November,world biggest's Thangka has been displayed at dasharath stadium,kathmandu marking the special 60 years of diplomatic relation between Nepal -Japan.

This art is made possible by the 16 artist from different countries.

Also this is the second time that the art of this mega size has been displayed.

Foreign affairs minister,Dr prakash sharan mahat was present there to inagurate this expo.

He stated that"The thangka art will play a significant role to recognize and spread Buddha's precepts throughout the world"

The thangka art is of length-70m and breadth-50m.
